Follow these five steps on your iPhone to join the free Finegrain beta and take your first photo.

  1. Check your iPhone.

    You’ll need an iPhone 15 or later running iOS 26 or later.

    iPhone not supported? Try Finegrain in your browser. Upload a photo to explore the same technology, powered by the cloud. Sign-up required.

  2. Install TestFlight.

    Install TestFlight, Apple’s free app for trying beta apps. Then return here for step 3.

  3. Install Finegrain.

    Once TestFlight is installed, install Finegrain: open the invitation, accept it, and tap Install in TestFlight.

  4. Start taking photos!

    You’ll automatically get a stack of variants. No modes, no brushes, no prompts.

    Finegrain is still highly experimental. Please report any bugs or disappointing results—your feedback helps us improve faster. We release updates often.

  5. Your photos stay yours.

    They’re processed fully on your iPhone and never sent to us unless you choose to share them. Your originals are always preserved.

Android deserves better photos, too.
